Cartier River Oaks District Grand Opening

HB and I had a grand time at the official opening of the Cartier River Oaks District, a new slice of real estate that promises to be the "Rodeo Drive" of Houston, Texas (trust me, it's super fancy). The air was crisp, the red carpet was rolled out, and the champagne was flowing. We snacked on passed hors d'oeuvres and oohed and aahed at the shiny baubles.

Cartier also unveiled a new collection called the "Paris Nouvelle Vague" and it reminded HB and I of our honeymoon in Paris. I, myself, could mostly be found making googly eyes at the Cartier Love Bracelets.

We enjoyed beats by model-slash-DJ Maad Moiselle, and the crooning sultry voice of up-and-coming artist Grace Weber. It was also a huge privilege to be able to speak with Mercedes Abramo, President & CEO of Cartier North America (she's in the pretty orange dress in the photos above). 

Thanks again to Cartier for a fabulous night. My husband wouldn't stop raving about the festivities on the car ride home (it was kind of annoying--but there's a huge compliment in it).
